यह बरसात है की ख़तम ही नहीं होती,
शोर जो बादलों का है चुप ही नहीं होता,
सूरज होके भी नहीं दिख रहा,
दुंद का अंधेरा ख़तम ही नहीं होता.

रात समज के सोने की कोशिश करू,
आँखों को नींद का आसरा नहीं मिलता.
बंद दरवाज़ों में गीलेपन की महक है,
गीले आँखों की नमी को सूखापन नहीं मिलता

आ छु लू तुजे... ले चल मुझे उस जहाँ जिसे छोड़ आई
जिंदगी... थाम ले हाथ, ऊँगली पकड़, जीना सिखा जो भूल आई

कोई ज़माना था... पर मेरा ही तो था
फिर भूल कैसे जो फिर भूल आई
उड़ते गगन में कोई हो या हो खली आसमान
तारों से जोड़ नयी मंजिलों की कर बधाई

उठते कदम जो गिर के सम्ब्ले... फिर गिरे
उन छोटी छोटी चोटों में आपना मज़ा है
आज फिरसे हसंना है कुछ गलती करके
आज  दिल ने ख्वाहिशों की लौ जलाई

Life never seemed easy, u knw…

When I walk without umbrella, it rained,

Or sometimes the I am burnt hard in sun rays.

But you know what…

I only can understand the taste of rain,

Or the hugs of sun.

I have felt the dust of narrow roads,

Cracky hands, n feet, n dry hairs.

I have experienced all the pain,

And smiled again and again.

And you know what…

My day has come,

Flowers have laid on path, and I feel the value of softness.

No matter if the way be sometimes dark,

No matter though the cost be oft-times great,

Now light has come to greet me, and take me to higher heights.

I just have to get up and hold the hands of golden rays,

Now-nothing is far, nothing is hard…

वक़्त ने उस मोड़ पे लाके खडा किया,
जहाँ मुझसे मेरा साया बिचाद गया.
ढूंढें किस रह पे, किन गलियों में,
खुद को जहाँ देखा, वहां तनहा पाया.

अँधेरी राह में जलता हुआ चिराग लिए,
थक गए फिर भी उसको न पाया.
चलते-चलते इक ऐसा कोचा आया,
सिसकियों से भरी तनहा गली में बिखरा पाया.

या खुदा, तुने भी क्या तकदीर बख्शी मुझको,
मैंने हर राह में खुद को तनहा पाया...

Whom to say Mine

How much I cried,
nobody heard and came!
Shocked to see,
how people change within a moment.

My friends, loved ones,
those who are a part of my life,
forgot who am I, who is Isha?
Shocked to see,
how ego overpowers emotions!

I raised my arms,
begged to God,
told HIM my pains,
shared my loneliness with HIM.
But alas! again-
shocked to see,
how God left me!

Now I am alone,
Alone like a cloud,
who can burst anytime, anywhere.
Cloud filled with ocean of tears,
Cloud filled with thunder of pain,
Cloud filled with noise of cries.

Cloud which always soothes others-
with her cool showers,
today finds herself helpless,
nobody to sooth her pain.

Now who bothers??? Nobody!
I wander alone, thundering, raining, weeping...
...bursting...still soothing everybody...

Lonely

I wandered lonely as a cloud,
that floats on high over vales and hills.

Lonely as a brook,
wandered down in search of sea,
lonely as a sea shell,
standing isolated on a mantel,
I share my lonliness with all,
but yet I am alone.

I say to Thee, 'come1lets be together',
we share naught in common,
same our loneliness,
but my words are lost,
like the tide hitting against rocks,
never returning,
so my words are falling on deaf ears.

I wandered on, down the never ending road,
I know not where it shall lead,
but I know I am...
doomed to wader alone,
On and on, the paths of life,
until I find salvation...

जिंदगी हर पल इक ख्वाब बनके रह गयी
आरजू जो भी थी अब राख बन के रह गयी
